COMPREHENSIVE RECREATIONAL TRAILS PLAN UPDATE
The Fairbanks North Star Borough is developing a new Recreational Trails Plan that will be the primary decision-making tool guiding FNSB and its partners to prioritize the allocation of available resources to local trails.
COMPREHENSIVE RECREATIONAL TRAILS PLAN UPDATED - APPROVAL PROCESS BEGINS!
Thank you for helping us understand more about trails you use in the Borough, what is important to the community, and for helping us make decisions on how to allocate the Borough's limited resources. The Trails Plan Team has analyzed and incorporated your feedback on the Draft Trails Plan and Recommendation Maps into a Pre-Final version of the Plan. After a successful public review and approval processes, concluding with adoption by the Assembly, the Trails Plan will become Final. Please note, the Draft Trail Recommendation Maps are formatted for large-scale printing in order to provide sufficient detail; this requires you to zoom in to review.
Review & Approval Process Includes:
Trails Advisory Commission: Recommended the FNSB Assembly approve the Trails Plan
Assembly Meeting: on the consent agenda to be referred to Planning Comm & Platting Board
Planning Commission: September 13, 2022
Platting Board: September 21, 2022
Assembly: October, 2022
Thank you for your continued support in FNSB Trails!
